Our Process

The process begins with you choosing a Lot from our community, and then entering into our reservation agreement. It is an agreement that reserves your lot of choice, this then allows us the time to work with you to create a custom home design, and budget for your approval. Once this part is complete, we move forward to a formal Agreement of Purchase and Sale. Note: Please read our community restrictions and reservation agreement.

Once your lot has been successfully reserved, we will set up an appointment with our lead designer to discuss your vision. Our proactive and detailed design process, allows us to develop your dream home…

Based on our initial consultation, we will prepare and present to you the first floor plan. Once approved by you, we will proceed with the additional floors and exterior elevation….

With your design process now complete, we will guide you into selecting your interior and exterior finishes from door styles, cabinetry, countertops, hardware, flooring, and so much more…

With the blueprint, finishings and customizations determined we will ensure that the project remains within budget or work with you to realign budgetary expectations or scope to proceed.

Construction permits are applied for, and construction start is scheduled to begin to coincide with your closing date. Note: Mariposa Homes prides itself on delivering its home on time, however, due to the new reality of supply chain, and labor shortage, we cannot guarantee a closing date. We will continue to do our best to complete your home in the most expeditious manner.

Upon the completion of your new custom home, we will coordinate a Pre-Delivery Inspection to go through your home to ensure you are satisfied. We will go through all aspects of your home so that you are comfortable before you move in. A TARION Warranty Certificate of Possession is completed to safeguard your investment. Once the Pre-Delivery inspection is completed, the legal closing of your home takes place as per your Agreement of Purchase and Sale. Time to plan your move…
